Shark Tank is an American business reality television series that premiered on ABC on August 9, 2009. This American show series is based on the international format of Dragons’ Den. The Dragon’s Den is a Japanese television show that debuted in 2001 as Money Tigers. In the show, aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a panel of five investors known as “sharks.”
